Last season (Autumn 2023) was pretty decent for Netflix anime-wise, with the excellent Scott Pilgrim Takes Off! and Pluto, plus the anime-adjacent Blue Eye Samurai. I never did get around to PS2-era videogame adaptation Onimusha, mainly because I heard it wasn’t very good. A few friends on the AniTAY discord server kept recommending VRMMORPG anime Good Night World though. That’s not normally my thing, but now that I’m writing reviews more regularly for Anime News Network, I noticed it was a series that hadn’t yet been covered by any of their other writers for either weekly streaming reviews or a series review.
